A Story of Bones is a film that is asking us to actively examine how we choose to remember our histories.
What we always wanted as a team was to provide something that would enable a conversation to take place.
Certain stories are being silenced and other stories are being championed, and we're missing the conversation a lot of the time.
We're not even allowed to have the conversation.
This remembrance and and protection of this African burial ground on the Island of Saint Helena is the responsibility of many.
There's a global responsibility in really bringing this history of the transatlantic slave trade from behind the veil and out front.
